i made a mix for my friend, clark, who i’ll be seeing while i’m visiting hamburg/buffalo/lockport/rochester during my thanksgiving break.

i’ve finally gotten to season 4 of lost. i started the series over in august and i’ve finally gotten past the point that i’ve previously seen, and it’s getting exciting.
with that said, lately i’ve been infatuated with underwater scenes, stereotypical religious imagery (think angelic light shining down from what might be heaven), slow-motion in general (especially when it comes to hair or accompanied with dramatic orchestral music), and anything having to do with falling from the sky.

christmas is coming up and i’m kinda broke now but by the time christmas day comes, i’ll be really broke. and january paychecks will most likely be nonexistent. what are some good ideas for christmas gifts that are either cheap or free (keep in mind i’m okay at making things)?

i don’t like lady gaga either.
although i used to HATE her. but through countless conversations on her “talent” and her “performances”, i’m starting to not mind her so much. i still think she is ugly and kind of obnoxious, and it would be nice if she wasn’t tall, thin, leggy, and platinum blonde-the most typical celebrity facade to date, probably- but given that, at least she’s raunchy? i mean, i’m a pervert, i like raunchy. but then she should probably not be on daytime TV and what not. but we all know sex makes money.

last night as our super intense girls night was winding down [many bottles of wine had been consumed], we stood outside discussing veganism, & politics, & art, & math, & cigarettes, & america.
and randomly we inquired to a drunk passerby if oreos were vegan.
her slightly slurred reply, ” yea, but not the double stuffed.”
turns out she was wrong, but i forgive her. she was walking away from acme at 3 a.m… i just found out they are all in fact vegan-friendly products.
nifty things you learn from the drunk on the street. ha!
yes! even better are the vegan chocolate chip cookies and vegan vanilla (and chocolate) cake icing at aldi. and i think the total cost of one package of cookies and one tub of icing is about $2.
